Heel soms klapt CUE Designer bij het openen van een pagina er meteen uit.
Daar kun je wat aan doen:  CUE Designer opstarten in safe mode.
Die optie vindt je onder de voorkeuren van CUE Print – tabje pagina’s
Pagina steeds opnieuw proberen te openen, corrupte elementen worden verwijderd.
Opslaan, safe mode weer uitzetten en dooooooorrrrrr…

Using CUE Designer in Safe Mode

You can sometimes experience that CUE Designer crashes during start-up when loading a page. This is usually due to one or more erroneous items are mounted the page.

The CUE Designer Safe Mode functionality enables you to open pages in ‘safe mode’, i.e. the system will automatically identify and unmount erroneous items, one by one, until CUE Designer can open successfully.

If you have experienced a crash when opening a page in CUE Designer, follow Steps 1 to 6:

  1. Turn on CUE Designer Safe Mode:
    1. In the CUE Print menu bar, choose Edit menu → Preferences…This opens the Preferences dialog.
    2. In the Pages tab, check the CUE Designer Safe Mode check box.
    3. Click OK to confirm and close the dialog.
  2. Open the page in CUE Designer.CUE Designer will crash again during opening and an erroneous item will be identified by the system.
  3. Repeat Step 2 until there is no more erroneous item on the page.
  4. Reopen the page. CUE Designer will now open and the erroneous items have been moved to the Components palette.A dialog will inform you of which items have been unmounted from the page.
  5. Save the page to permanently move the items to the Components palette.
    Please note that if you do not save the page manually, the results achieved from running safe mode will be lost.
  6. Turn of CUE Designer Safe Mode:
    1. In the CUE Print menu bar, choose Edit menu → Preferences…
    2. In the Pages tab, uncheck the CUE Designer Safe Mode check box.
    3. Click OK to confirm and close the dialog.
